Hidden Gardens

Gardens in Clare, Suffolk, were open on Sunday 8th June between 11am and 5pm.

CLARE IN BLOOM welcomed visitors to its biannual celebration of inspiring spaces and enthusiastic gardeners. 19 town-centre gardens opened in different locations and of varying sizes, some never before open to the public, welcoming visitors throughout the day.

Refreshments were served in the Vicarage garden, High Street and Plant stalls were available at various gardens, as well as a book stall and live music.

Tickets were £5 per person in advance; £6 on the day.  A map within the ticket was the guide to each garden. The CLASP minibus provided a hop on and off service to ease the walking.

All proceeds went to Clare in Bloom to support their work beautifying the town, with a large donation being made to Clare Scouts, Cubs and Beavers.
