Clare is looking resplendent in its Spring clothes. Over the last few Autumns, Clare in Bloom have planted hosts of golden daffodils to enhance our greenswards at this time of year. They are not the original Wordsworthian native daffs, rather a smaller variety called Tete a tete. They naturalise well and so increase year on year. The Callis Street plantings as well as Snow Hill/ Heights junction are looking abundant. The Baptist Church grass triangle along with the Cavendish Rd/Highfields junction need adding to after Gigaclear’s excavations!
