How Clare in Bloom is organised

The business of Clare in Bloom is conducted by monthly committee meetings and an AGM in November. Currently, the committee consists of seven enthusiastic local residents, three of whom are voted as Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer at the AGM.

How Clare in Bloom is funded

Clare in Bloom raises some of its own money through its popular biennial Hidden Gardens event. It shares a Plant Stall at Clare Market and through the Social Club, held a Quiz for the first time in the Spring. We also apply for an annual precept from Clare Town Council and with the Town Council, request donations from Clare residents to help fund CiB’s planters and the Council’s hanging baskets.
